With public transportation through the Hamburg public transport system (hvv) you can reach almost every destination in Hamburg and the surrounding area – either by city train, subway or bus.

Take the S1 to Hamburg Airport
From platform 3 at the main station, you can take the S1 line every ten minutes directly to Hamburg Airport arriving in just 25 minutes.
